OUR HISTORY

In 1816, the Anglican Church Missionary Society opened a small private school for girls called Annie Walsh Memorial, in the mountainside village of Charlotte in Sierra Leone. There were only eight students on the roll of the school. The school began with a vision to educate and train young African girls in pursuit of excellence in all areas.

OUR PASSION

The Annie Walsh Old Girls Association believes in working together to create opportunity for young ladies in pursuit of excellence in life. Through our fundraising efforts we have opened many doors for young ladies who did not originally have the opportunity to recieve a full education.
